Adam Fergurson

I have been working in commercial film and photography production since 2010. Wearing multiple hats with a fine art background I bring a strong formal skill set and attention to visual detail to my job. I hold a BFA in sculpture from The University of the Arts and have been making art my entire life. These experiences grant me the ability to design an entire environment based off a script or prompt, focus in on spacial relationships in a still life shoot, select the most appropriate props for a commercial, and the abilities to fabricate a set or a prop from an idea into reality. I maintain a strong knowledge base of prop sources, fabrication methods, and building techniques while also utilizing new creative solutions to best suit any project. I have sourced, designed, and had props fabricated for network television shows. I have experience bringing together and leading a team of talented people to execute a vision but also have worked nearly every position in the art department which gives me a better understanding of art department roles both on and off set. I work hard to execute the vision of the director and client with the use of clear communication, precise timeline and budget management, creative problem solving, and a collaborative mind set. I look forward to working together.
